I don't play Apex, but I'm always here for the cinematics. They are 10/10 almost every time. I love the characters and the world they have created. I would love to see a TV series much in the way of Arcane.

I think that was supposed to be a teaser for his son. If you think about it, it’s his son that made it to the Apex games, not Ballistic (aka Nathan’s father) which would make sense. In fact I theorize that he will actually make it to the Apex games a different season

Maybe he doesn’t want his son to end up like his fallen friend, or to spare him from the amount of hardships that come with such a blood sport as the games. But who knows, only time will tell. FINALLY! A legend that not only has an interesting story but one that also makes sense to be in a blood sport. It feels like forever since the games felt like Apex "Legends".

Yeah, ash maggie and newcastle are cool, vantage was alright, but catalyst was so boring. I’m glad they’re back to badass legends.

Ballistics son is 100% gonna be a legend. No doubt about it. It fits perfectly; Silva finally lets him in, and then ballistic gets all mad at Silva because they had a deal. Can’t wait for the season though.
I doubt that considering they will have to make intereactions between Ballistic and his son when either one of them kills each other. Imagine Ballistic killing his son, it would make no sense during the games and gameplay, and he would 100% have to have a voice line when doing so

Gun jamming would be really dangerous for the balance of the game, if its actually his skill i hope they figure out a way to make it right and not an unbalanced mess.

this trailer made me feel something that I haven't felt since the S4 Outlands. Good job writers/animators.
I loved the part when Ballistic as a real TTV wraith destroyed squad of soldiers noobs without even sweating. Truly an Apex experience.

A high quality Apex Legends animated series would actually make me wanna play this game again.
Theyd have to make more Gameplay, and maps and events...
Better servers and ranked system will make the game better. But cosmetics are the most important thing in their eyes

What I like about ballistic is he comes from an era before everyone had magic fluid, a swarm of drones, a literal black hole, or a titan for a backpack. He’s just a guy who’s good with guns.
First legend I can actually say I’m excited in a long time. Maybe the other legends’ backstory has not meshed with me, but I believe this is what I was waiting for, in a game of blood and sport.

I love apex but the story is really just meh. Online Battle royale isn't exactly the genre to build a consistent or meaningful story on.

Father making a self move here and I think it would make a good dramatically beautiful story. They should still bring the son in as another legend. Imagine they dropping two legends at once haha

Im sure he will, all of the legends have someone in their story (either current or past) that is also in the game at this point. It makes Ballistic an outlier to not. Either his Son joins as Jester or Conduit in the future seasons or he gets a lot of future lore in S17

To put the community vitriol for the state of the game aside, for just a moment: this was cool. Well made, I hope everyone who worked on this is proud and got paid accordingly.
I love the part where get gets the upper hand in the 1v1 to then get jumped by 6 other people.

There's a teaser in the Firing Range where Mirage, Rampart, and Gibby have voicelines. Notably Gibby knows him from his Thunderdome days
obviously related to gibraltar and not fuse nor maggie. since that's where gibby's gay bf died.
The most interesting part of this whole video for me is that pistol. Anyone else seeing an odd similarity between his pistol and the TF2 Smart Pistol Mk6? I'm actually excited about this legend for once. So many of the recent legends have just missed the mark for me.

Wouldn't it be fun if we get a PVE mode for this game? Imagine having to manage economy, facing almost endless enemies while trying to push forward towards a goal. Fighting a big boss that even great players need to work together. We have a mini game in storm point like this already with the dogs and spiders but lets add automations in armory and multiply everything by 2000. I think it would be fun.

This brings me back to the early seasons of apex. Amazing trailer.
After another story about "pride, acceptance and feminine strength", we get a really strong story about the fall, acceptance and protection of a parent of their child. Replace the gender of any character and this story will remain strong. Respawn once again shows that they really know how to write interesting stories when they don't have to work out a quota.
