For anyone confused, dropping a portable jump tower is not an ability for Ballistic, but is a survival kit item.

If its as common as heat shields as ground loot, then valkarae isnt gonna be as viable for rotations

As someone who spends hours in the firing range, I am beyond content with its expansion. I do hope that there is a droptower, so I can test skydive animations! 💫

I have played apex since season 2 on ps4 in high school and firing range felt boring. I guess I was ignorant. I have been on and off the wagon. But, since I transitioned to PC i have changed my gaming perspective and realised that... practice mode in games are actually useful. Almost necessary. and firing range actually becomes fun. the progress is actually enjoyable
You can add one with the new survival item which is a ballon

People are saying the portable junp tower takes away from Valk, but it actually adds to her. Its a free area scan whenever she launches from it and you can basically do back to back launches to get across the map if you save her Ult

Just got back into Apex a couple weeks ago. This trailer was very refreshing. Wall jumps were clean lol first time seeing that in a trailer

After fighting the movement players for the best part of 4 years they actually show two wall bounces in a trailer. I love the new firing range, that's probably what I'm most hyped about. I wonder about what changes they may make to Valkyrie with the mobile balloon item now in play.

With wall bouncing being shown in the trailer I'm think either they're acknowledging it or that there are going to be some tweaking with mobility in general. Also heard that in the new firing range there is a speed course for training your mobility. All in all hella excited but please do something about the servers DX
They've actually already acknowledged it back in between season 1-5, and even encouraged players to learn it. This isn't the first time they've even shown it off, although it's the first time they've shown it off in a trailer.
now all we need is a pilot who can wallrun and double jump..

Was Caustic not in this one again? As much as it was memed on seeing him have some semi badass entry to promptly get killed like he was the primary antag was usually one of the cooler moments in the older trailers. I understand he just got probably the best heirloom cinematic to ever happen but its a shame not seeing him. He's got great cinematic value with his abilities.

This new survival item is a 50/50 for valk players one side means she might be useless the other side could mean all game she is flying constanly scanning people and more 3rd or even 4th parties gonna happpen it all depends on who figures out that she may be useful with that item

That said Valk is gonna be less viable and unfortunately Respawn won't make any changes to help. Same thing happened with Pathfinder when they added the ring scan to other legends. They still haven't gave him anything else and it's been years
I hope there are more changes to worlds edge than just like 2 new buildings in fragment, because it really didnt look all that different

Honestly one of the best promotion media pieces I've EVER seen for a live service game. Can't think of a single COD, Fort or any other game trailer that feels as great and refreshing as this! Huzzah, can't wait till May 9th!!!
It's kind of crazy to me they included shots of people wall bouncing considering how hard they tried to get rid of movement skills like Tap strafing.

Dont get me wrong the balloons will slightly hurt valk, but i feel like no one is considering the fact that she can pop her ult from behind cover and you can take off without a squad thats 50m away knowing. You pop a portable balloon and theyre going to be looking at you befor you even start to take it. Valk will be fine.
I’m honestly glad last season focused on changing the classes of legends and then we get the new legend this season. I could get used to having it continue to alternate like that
Finally Firing Range looks better! I always warm up before playing and I always hated how the bots are like easter egg where you do those shenanigans steps before they activate. Hope now is just a click of a button to toggle them on and off.
