The fact that 80% of the applause here is for including movement in the trailer as opposed to the whats actually in it the battle pass says a lot about Apex.
yeah its because the battlepass is kinda trash and it has been for a few seasons but whats important is that they tried to stop people from using movement tech and would even ban people for using movement in this *movement* based fps game. so the fact that theyre recognising it and actually using it is kinda big, dont have to fear getting banned for tap strafing no more and hopefully it means they might attempt to implement some intentional movement options as all the movement apart from wall jumps are just bugs people have found

Except people can’t do these movements without a cronus zen, strike pack, or macros - so you kinda wonder why they showing off these movements to begin with
@Bell Cranel the first two have nothing to do with movement, and you can wall bounce / super jump without macros. so every word you type is worthless

i love how they implement the super zipline jump and also the wall bounces, really shows you how much they actually know about their community at times

@Amaterazu unless their adding video playing holosprays, they should replace sprays with emotes and finishers.
They said they don't like adding finishers because of how much of the animation is taken away to do them, and the amount of people who actually use them. I agree that I'd love to see more, but if nobody is using them, I guess it makes sense.

not a fan of the cosmetics this battlepass, but absolutely love the red CAR reactive skin.
I'm so glad they fully embraced the movment techs in-game now. The showcase of wallbounces and zipjumps makes this so much cooler.

@Slubus I mean they mention it during the mobile trailer, when Mirage is talking about people wall running and tap strafing. I don't have a link but I'm pretty sure that's the trailer the person is talking about
Yet they don't teach the players how to do them :)
The base movement speed in apex is 7.4m/s (384.8hu/s [hammer units per seccond]), and holding a weapon reduces it to 6.438m/s (334.776hu/s[13% decrease]) Since mad Maggie’s passive makes Mad Maggie get a 13% speed boost while holding a shotgun (0.962m/s [50.024hu/s] increase, making her movement speed the same as base movement speed [7.4m/s {384.8hu/s}]) and ballistics ultimate gives you a 13% speed boost while holding a weapon, would your speed boosts stack, and give you a total speed of 8.362m/s (434.824hu/s)? If so, while balistics ultimate is active, then mad Maggie will gain a 13% faster speed then if you were holstering your shotgun (32.5% slower then octane stim).
(I did all of these calculations myself, if I messed up feel free to correct me.)

@ChiefRocka819 yeah, but as I understand it's just kinda like a playground, you practice by yourself, and I'm speaking of tutorials that teach you what and when to press to do movement techs, or challenges with different objectives snd scoring systems, like checkpoint race, or race with a timer or whatever.
That Wattson skin looks amazing. I love how it ends with her finishing off Catalyst, because she basically nailed her style

I think Rampart needs this buff: When she has „Sheila" in her hands (not in ground), she can reload „Sheila" while having her quipped, but i think her reaload time have to be long (like reloading „Sheila" in ground)

thank you so much for the recent rank changes. this is the first time in the history since the beginning of season 13, where a normal player can enjoy ranked end game content, that in round 5, you have 11 teams still alive ....its actually the most fun i had in this game ...(i have 5000+hours) THANK YOU!!! this is so needed as players with 5k hours ...in pubs, i am getting 3 teams left by the end of round 1.
Hope there’s some more skins than these in the pass, besides the Wattson one they’re kind of weak… And though the wattson one is nice, it’s not really recognizable as wattson, which I think is an issue when identifying your opponent’s character to anticipate their possible strategies is important.
This battle pass is pretty good! Its nothing spectacular, nothing special, but its pretty good and in definitely getting if probably only really for the wattson skin

This season has a good theme and a good reactive skin but unfortunately i dont use wattson nore horizon frequently and the devotion is a gun i rarely use, i just want a r301 bp skin or r-99 and maybe soon a bp skin for mirage, a octane one wouldnt be bad and i wouldnt mind a newcastle one
Is there anything about weapon buffs or nerfs yet? I enjoy the Nemesis, I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm wondering if it gets a nerf this season.
